چکیده

In this study, hydrogen production by solar thermal energy has been studied in terms of economics, technology and sources. Methane was captured subjected to photovoltaic steam, methane cracking, high-temperature water electrolysis thermochemical cycles. The price calculated compared other methods, means using exploiting as an carrier were examined addition verifying the industrial need for hydrogen, especially presence high energy, which improves production. study carried out order generate a electrolyzer based on polymeric exchange membrane technology. two methods. first involved direct connection system analyzer, second analyzer consisting PV array maximum power tracker MPPT meant operate at all times uses DC converter supply analyzer. With necessary current tank, results showed that method less effective due instability intensity radiation during day, show adding potassium hydroxide, example, enhances ionization supply.

Energy consumption and water production cost of conventional and renewable-energy-powered desalination processes

Desalination technologies improve water quality, greatly reduce water shortage problems, and improve quality of life and economic status. Two main technologies are currently used in water desalination: thermal (phase-change) processes and membrane processes. The primary thermal distillation processes include multistage flash distillation (MSF), multi-effect distillation (MED), and vapor compres...

Seawater desalination using renewable energy sources

The origin and continuation of mankind is based on water. Water is one of the most abundant resources on earth, covering three-fourths of the planet’s surface. However, about 97% of the earth’s water is salt water in the oceans, and a tiny 3% is fresh water. This small percentage of the earth’s water—which supplies most of human and animal needs—exists in ground water, lakes and rivers. The onl...

The Energy-Water Nexus: An Analysis and Comparison of Various Configurations Integrating Desalination with Renewable Power

This investigation studies desalination powered by wind and solar energy, including a study of a configuration using PVT solar panels. First, a water treatment was developed to estimate the power requirement for brackish groundwater reverse-osmosis (BWRO) desalination. Next, an energy model was designed to (1) size a wind farm based on this power requirement and (2) size a solar farm to preheat...
